This project is inspired by the re-enchantment of mysticism in the increasingly changing and uncertain social environment, reflecting on the impact of rational authority on the realm of the human and the non-human. The project uses mushrooms and mycelium as mediums, from psychedelic mushrooms to ordinary mushrooms, capturing their secret underground growth, decomposition of waste, mutual symbiosis with surrounding natural objects, and certain species' psychoactive properties. Through methods such as biological cultivation, morphological and environmental simulation, organic and inorganic materials are juxtaposed—representing uncontrollability and stability, free will and social machinery. It attempts to metaphorically present the entities and characteristics of mushrooms and mycelium as individuals and minority groups in the social environment, who are engulfed and overwhelmed by authority, centralization, and the majority, yet continue to Keep growing silently. The project aims to present the deformation and alienation of overlooked individuals and minority groups in social reality, combining installation, sculpture, photography, and moving images.
